ps how appropriate for the skies to look as they did on the evening that i went to ryan adams' listening party at origami vinyl in echo park, ca on 9.30.11. i was clicking from the car on my way over to hear the ashes & fire album. the skies were of something hauntingly, heavenly dark, lovely, and mysterious just like ashes & fire.
