we are dorothea at the hotel cafe 11.6.13



this emerging group of individuals from los angeles and long beach came together to create we are dorothea, a sonic experimentation of catchy guitar riffs, percussive drums, and three-part vocal harmonies. melodies drift through their songs and surround you like birds flying from all different directions. this is no fling… keep an eye and open ear on this up and coming band. their songs won't leave you alone!

ps the band dorothea are a talented group built around brilliant 3-part harmonies. these indie darlings can at times have a folksy charm about them, or make mellow into marvelous, or just get loud. their songs are as smart as they are catchy and fun, yet hauntingly heartfelt and vulnerable. carrying themselves, their melancholic americana sounds will spin you into their melodic web till you fall under their spell. this band is truly a gem in the finding.
