made a trip over to the famous silent movie theatre on fairfax that opened in 1942 to view another dark film with vincent price, the pit and the pendulum {1961}. this location is said to hold the ghost of the original theater owner who was murdered in the lobby by his soon to be successor. a perfect theatre for an edgar allan poe story to haunt us!
