the tree of life

trailer:

ps "the only way to be happy is to love"
ps ps this film had mixed reviews at the cannes film festival. don't let that stop you from seeing it. it provokes the meaning of life and is a religiously minded piece of art.
"written by justin chang in the pages of variety: “the rare film to urgently question, yet also accept, the presence of god in a fallen world, the tree of life understands that every childhood is a creation story unto itself, and just as a new planet is formed by the elements, so an emerging soul is irrevocably shaped by the forces that nurture it.” perfectly stated!
ps ps ps clicks taken after walking out of the film.
