grouplove @ bootleg theater 1.17.11

ps once again i made it out to see grouplove. this being the third show that i have attended. it is always much fun seeing this band live! go see them....they are a magical la indie band. the band is made of hannah hooper, christian zucconi, sean gadd, andrew wessen, and ryan rabin. how they met is an incredibly "it was meant to be" story.

chief @ bootleg theater 01.17.11

ps i first discovered chief last year reading a random blog and immediately played their music on blipfm. then more recently i noticed a twitter post that they were opening for grouplove at the bootleg theater. it was a must that i go. as this being my first time attending a show at bootleg theater i wasn't sure what to expect. i'm super happy to have ventured out because I got to see a great band as well as finding a new venue to capture more music memories. chief is a ca band made up of evan koga, mike moonves, danny and michael Fujikawa playing a melancholic folk-rock style. their sound is one built on the emotional foundations of heartache, longing and loss. thank you for the great show at bootleg theater!
