ps the duo from flagstaff, arizona, ben velazco ~ vocals/percussion and joshua be ~ guitar/vocals, make up them savages. with their gravelly, growling voices and their dark grittiness and thumping bluesy folk rock sounds i hail them a hidden treasure. it didn't take me but one listen to their latest album, church songs, to become a fan.
i look forward to seeing them come play in los angeles in the near future. come on boys and get here soon!
